East Haven Mom 'Is Truly A Super Mom,' Daughter Says

EAST HAVEN, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!
Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?
Our mom is truly a super mom. She's currently works and attends college full time. It got really hard for her during COVID, [but] she made sure my brother and I were doing our Zoom classes and [was] working from home herself as well as [in] college. Our mom cooks every day and attends all my dance classes and my brother and I's track practices and meets. In the morning getting ready for school, my mom put our towels in the dryer to be toasty when we get out the shower. My mom is our super mom.
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
Because she gives more than she receives. Always putting everyone before herself and never complains.
