East Haven Rotary Club’s Breakfast With The Easter Bunny Returns

Set for April 19, a breakfast, kids meet the Easter Bunny, and used sneakers will be collected, recycled to raise funds for Club programs.

EAST HAVEN, CT — The East Haven Rotary Club’s popular “Breakfast with The Easter Bunny” is back again for the upcoming holiday. This year’s event will be held on Saturday April 19th from 9:00 am until 11:30 am, at the East Haven Senior Center, 91 Taylor Avenue in East Haven.

The breakfast will once again include: pancakes and sausage along with juice, and coffee.

The event will be similar to the Club’s very popular “Breakfast with Santa”, which is held each year during the Christmas season. Games will be available for a small fee.

The Easter Bunny will be greeting every child and giving each a special Easter treat.

Children under 8 years of age will be admitted free. Admission for adults and children 8 is $5. All proceeds going to the East Haven Rotary Club, Inc.

At this event, the Rotary Club will be hosting a used Sneaker Drive. Rotarians will be collecting gently worn sneakers. This will include running shoes, basketball, walking, cleats (rubber only), Vans, Converse, hiking and trail sneakers. East Haven Rotary will be packaging the donations and sending them to a recycling company to raise funds for future club events, which include Students of the Month, scholarships and free Thanksgiving meals. Bring donations to the April 19 event.
