East Haven Sets The Date For Its 23rd Annual Fireworks And Beach Party

Life's a beach. And a party, so expect music, food trucks and vendors, and fireworks at East Haven Town Beach on Saturday, June 29.

EAST HAVEN, CT — Mayor Joseph A. Carfora announced the town's 23rd annual Fireworks / Beach Party is set for Saturday, June 29.

"This year's celebration is set to be the most exciting yet, featuring a day of great food, entertainment, and family fun," Carfora said. "This is one of the highlights of the year for our community. It’s wonderful to see everyone come together at the beach for a day of fun and to celebrate Independence Day. We have outstanding bands to keep everyone entertained, and music right through the grand finale of fireworks."

And a number of food vendors and food trucks to feed the masses.

Musical Line-up:
4:00 PM - 6:45 PM: The Kathy Thompson Band
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM: The Rum Runners
99-1 PLR’s Eddie Sab will host the event and give away prizes at the PLR tent.

The celebration will conclude with a fireworks show set to light the night sky at around 9:15 p.m.

What to know before you go

Access to the Town Beach area will be restricted, with road closures beginning at 9 a.m. the day of the event. The East Haven Police Department will be on hand to assist with traffic and ensure a smooth flow around the area.

In case of bad weather, the event will be rescheduled for Monday, July 1st, featuring limited
entertainment and the fireworks display.

"While the fireworks display is hosted by the Town of East Haven, we rely on generous donations from businesses and individuals to make this event possible," Carfora said.
