East Haven Shop Offering Free Coffee For Teachers & Staff

Educators will receive complimentary beverages at One World Café & Espresso Bar during Teacher Appreciation Week.

EAST HAVEN, CT - May is here, and so is teacher appreciation week! From May 6-10, One World Coffee Roasters is offering free coffee and espresso drinks as a way of showing thanks and appreciation to educators in the East Haven Schools.

There is also a special latte (pictured) being served during the month of May that Coffee Roasters' owners belief the educators may want to try.

“We realize that coffee is an important part of the day for most teachers and we just want to provide them with an amazing cup of coffee, one that may be a notch above most chainstore coffee or your typical K-cups,” explains One World owner and chief roaster, Eric Ciolino.

While enjoying a free beverage in the café during Teacher Appreciation Week, teachers and school staff can also enter their school into a raffle drawing for free coffee catering. Once the winning raffle ticket has been drawn, one of the East Haven Schools will be provided with a light, dark and decaf brewed coffees along with sugar and creamers for the May 24th professional development day.

“The coffee shop opens in the early morning, so most teachers will have a chance to come in for their free drink before schoolstarts,” says Ciolino. “It’s just a small way for us to say thank you to all the educators for being there for the kids.” One World Café & Espresso Bar is currently open Monday-Friday from 6:30 to 11:00am. Educators can learn more about the coffee menu, driving directions and the raffle drawing at www.oneworldroasters.com.
