East Shore District Health Department Offers Free Narcan Training
Covering East Haven, Branford, and North Branford, April 9 ESDHD trains on how to ID opioid ODs, overdoses and save lives with Narcan.

From the East Shore District Health Department:
In honor of National Public Health Week, the East Shore District Health Department will hold free Naloxone trainings Wednesday, April 9 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., in its Branford headquarters, 688 East Main St.
East Shore joins 18 other health departments/districts across the state on April 9 to educate the public on identifying drug overdoses and saving lives with the use of Naloxone, aka NARCAN.

East Shore will hold this walk-in training for this safe but effective nasal spray that restores breathing caused by opioid overdoses for free. You can walk in or call us to register, at (203) 481-4233.
The training will take 10 – 15 minutes but can mean the difference between life and death for someone who is over-dosing on an opioid drug.
