Bernice Denison DePoto, 85, of North Branford passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025 after a brief illness. Loving wife of 63 years to George R. DePoto, Sr. Beloved mother of Maria Samperi (Dan) and George R. DePoto, Jr. (Lori). Cherished grandmother of Axel Samperi (Lisa) and David Samperi, Jr. (Marisa). Caring great grandmother of Travis and Rocxen Samperi. Sister of the late Mary Lou Martino, Joan Jamilkowski, Grace Zahornacky and Elizabeth Nuzzo.
Bernice was born in New Haven on May 18, 1940, a daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Liston Denison. Prior to her retirement Bernice worked for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of CT for many years. She enjoyed summers at Mansfield Grove in East Haven and winters in Boynton Beach, Florida. She was Past President of the Ladies Guild at Our Lady of Pompeii Church.
