Dorothy Foster Stewart, 95, of East Haven, beloved wife of the late Carlos R. Stewart, passed away on December 8, 2025 surrounded by her family at her daughter’s home. Loving mother of Carlos R. Stewart Jr., Patricia (Edward) Santomassimo and Connie Stewart all of East Haven; Ronald L. (Carolyn) Stewart of Milford; Lawrence A. Stewart of Branford; Janice Cicarelli of North Haven and the late Miles E. “Eddie” Stewart. Dorothy is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 1 great greatgrandchild. Sister of Mabel Holstein and Archie, Dewayne and Thomas Foster and the late Carol Bias, Ester Zulke, Awilda Hughs, Alma Patterson, Hazel Lawson and Isom, George, Chester and Bonner Foster. Dorothy was born on October 26, 1930 in Racine, WV daughter of the late Bonner and Edna Bias Foster. Prior to her retirement, Dorothy worked in the housekeeping department for Tower One.
