Elizabeth Ann "Libby" Ruggiero Vandevender, 63 of East Haven went home to be with the Lord on November 6, 2025 surrounded by her family at Yale New Haven Hospital. Libby was the beloved wife of the late Craig Vandevender. Loving mother of Erik M. Marquis of Georgia and Lindsey Marquis of West Virginia. Grandmother of Rylee and Raiden Marquis and the late Jaelyn Marquis. Sister of Carl J. (Maureen) Ruggiero Jr. of East Haven. Libby was born in New Haven on August 30, 1962 daughter of Carl J. and Judy Brothers Ruggiero Sr. of East Haven. Prior to her retirement, Libby worked for Columbia Coffee in the accounting department.
