Regional Water Authority Chips In To Help East Haven Fire Department Buy Rope Rescue Equipment

EAST HAVEN, CT — Officials representing the Regional Water Authority presented a $1,000 check to the East Haven Fire Department to support the purchase of rope rescue equipment.

Emergency responders will use the equipment in technical rescue operations on the Lake Saltonstall Ridge, and other RWA properties in its district.

The department was one of 15 emergency service organizations throughout the region selected to receive awards through the RWA’s Emergency Responder Grant Program.
