Three Very Good Boys, All Young Dogs, Hoping To Have A Forever Home

EAST HAVEN, CT — It's still kitten season and the fluffy baby felines while they may not go like hotcakes, they're very often adopted. But what about the canines, most young, and looking for a home.

The East Haven Animal Shelter posted a gentle plea for folks to consider adopting one of these "sweet boys."

First up is Forrest.

"Our sweet sweet Forrest is a 1 to 1.5-year-old male Pitbull mix. He was found roaming the streets in town and no one ever came for him. He has already been neutered and is up-to-date on vaccines. Unfortunately, we believe he was hit in his head when he was a puppy due to the lump on his skull but that hasn't changed the kind of dog he is because he is so happy to see everyone! He loves people and seems ok with other dogs, but a meet and greet is required."

And here's Gizmo.

"Gizmo is a 1.5-2 year old male Pitbull Mix (we believe the mix is lover boy ) Gizmo is super super sweet and loves everyone he meets. He's already been neutered and is up-to-date with vaccines. He's a big boy and definitely has energy, so an active family would be best! He seems ok with other dogs, but a meet and greet is required."

And then there's Mercy.

"Mercy is a 1-year-old male black lab. He is already neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is super sweet and is good with everyone and other dogs, but a meet and greet is still required.
