Twin Pines Diner, Community Partners Continue Free Thanksgiving Dinner Tradition
The holiday dinners are for East Haven military veterans, seniors, and residents who might otherwise go without.

EAST HAVEN, CT — On Thanksgiving Day, Twin Pines Diner will once again partner with local attorney Andrew Amendola and generous community sponsors to provide free take-out Thanksgiving dinners to East Haven military veterans, seniors, and residents in need.
Through the generosity of Twin Pines owner Jim Triantis, Amendola, and other localdonors, the dinner, now in its sixth year, provides a special holiday meal for those who might otherwise have gone without.
Amendola raised $4,000 for this year’s effort. He said the need is the reason he'll continue this tradition.
"Because there’s a need—and because I can," he shared. "To whom much is given, much is expected."
