EAST HAVEN, CT — "We kicked off strong these past two Sundays," East Haven Farmers Market Master Amy Derbacher said.

"We have farms, bakeries, pasta, artisans, sauce, salsa, relish, freeze-dried candy, Mediterranean foods, plants, trees, civic organizations, musical performances and more," she noted.

"Thanks to the generosity of local businesses like Shoreline Monuments & Memorials, Foxon Fence, Luv Custom Creations, Monaco Construction and East Haven Memorial Funeral Home, just to name a few," Derbacher said, "We have the luxury of having different giveaways throughout the market season as well as free raffles where shoppers can earn tickets to the raffle by shopping a vendor or supporting a civic organization."

There's also a couple of theme Sundays.

"Then on July 13th we have Family Fun Day, where we will have civic organizations lining the Green with crafts, activities or giveaways for children and families," Derbacher noted. And set for that Sunday, there will be kids yoga at 9 a.m., Story Time at 10 a.m., Toddler Tunes at 11 a.m., giant yard games provided by the Town's Recreation Department from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
