Two Weeks Out, As School Starts Aug. 26, District Still In Need Of Staff

EAST HAVEN, CT — With the first day of school fast approaching —just two weeks away! —the East Haven Public School District has myriad openings for teachers, including short and long term substitute teachers, support staff, paraprofessionals, security, custodians, Board Certified Behavioral Analysts, social workers, lunch monitors, even a school psychologist are among the many roles to be filled.

Some examples:

Substitute janitor, $18 per hour

Lunch Monitor, a 10-month, 15 hours/week position, pays $16.35 per hour with no benefits

Long Term Substitute Teachers for myriad grades across the district. 2nd Grade, pays $140 a day and at Day 41, pays $282.53 for the day

Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (2 Positions) - Salary range id $75,000 to $90,000

Special Education Paraprofessional earns from $19.71, $20.22, $22.62 per hour, base on category.

Security Guards earns $19.24 hour

Assistant High School Volleyball Coach, are paid $3,834 for the season.

An 8th Grade Science Teacher, salary is based on contract.
