Before You Know It ...East Haven's Bulk Waste Pickup Program To Start Up
Among last in the state to do weekly bulk pickup, though that no longer exists, Public Works knows 2-week program is important to folks.
EAST HAVEN, CT — East Haven was one of the last towns in Connecticut to provide weekly bulk trash pickup, according to Director of Public Services Charles Coyle.
"While that service is no longer possible, we know how important this program is to our residents," Coyle said. "That's why we continue to make sure an organized townwide collection happens."
The town's public works department announced Tuesday that East Haven's annual Bulk Pickup Program will start Monday, Nov. 17 through Tuesday, Dec. 2.

Bulk pickup will begin at the North End of town and progress toward the South End of town over the course of the two weeks.
"We ask residents to review the guidelines carefully and place items curbside starting Nov. 10 in a responsible manner," Mayor Joe Carfora said. "This helps our crews work safely and sensibly for the entire community."
