Car Show at Four Town Fair Postponed Due to Forecast
There are reports of potential severe thunderstorms across most of Connecticut, including Ellington and Somers, until 10 p.m.
The classic car Cruise Night at the Four Town Fair is being postponed from Thursday to Friday at 6 p.m.
Here's a notice Patch received from Michelle Vargo, one of the fair's representatives:
"Based on the forecast of rain tonight the Four Town Fair Cruise Night is being moved from tonight to the rain date of Friday night at the fairgrounds. Classic, restored and modified cars are allowed entry to the fair grounds for a Cruise Night. Free tee shirts for the first 50 cars and awards for the best of show. Would you be willing to post the rain date for us? Michelle Vargo, Four Town Fair 749-3318 Thank You!"
The National Weather Service has initiated a severe thunderstorm watch in effect until about 10 p.m. tonight for seven of the state's counties — including Tolland.
