Multiple Somers Roads Closed Due To Downed Trees
Eversource crews are responding, Somers town officials said in an email.
SOMERS, CT — Several roads in Somers were closed Friday afternoon after trees fell onto power lines, according to an email from town officials, as wet and windy weather moved through the area.
Todd Rolland, Somers’ Director of Land Use and Public Works and Tree Warden, said in an email that road closures were in effect at 54 Hampden Road, 605 Stafford Road, and 167 Scully Road due to trees entangled with power lines.
