Ellington, Somers School Calendars: Key Dates For 2024-25

ELLINGTON-SOMERS, CT — Summer is almost over for students in the Ellington and Somers public school systems, and the 2024-25 academic calendars have been posted.
The first day of school in Ellington is scheduled for Aug. 29, and Sept. 3 for Somers students. The last day in Ellington is slated for June 11, with high school graduation June 13. In Somers, classes are scheduled through June 10, with no firm high school graduation date listed.

- Jan. 17: Ellington only - Professional development (no school)
- Jan. 20: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Jan. 29: East Windsor only - Professional development (no school)
- Feb. 11: Professional development (no school)
- Feb. 17-18: Winter recess/Presidents' Day
- April 14-18: Spring break/Good Friday
- May 26: Memorial Day
