Grappling Brothers From Somers Capture CIAC Divisional Championships
The Accorsi brothers each won their respective weight class crowns at the CIAC Class S divisional championship meet Saturday.
KILLINGLY, CT — Sibling grapplers from Somers High School turned in championship performances at the CIAC Class S divisional wrestling meet Saturday at Killingly High School.
William Accorsi scored a 15-0 technical fall over Ronald Wood of host Killingly to capture the 113-lb. title. Harrison Accorsi then pinned Nick Leadbetter of Canton with just six seconds remaining in their match at 132 lbs.

The State Open is scheduled for Feb. 28 and March 1 at the Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven.
