High Jumper From Ellington Wins Title At CIAC Indoor Track State Open

NEW HAVEN, CT — A field athlete from Ellington High School won an individual championship at the CIAC girls indoor track State Open Saturday at the Floyd Little Athletic Center.

Sophomore Jenna Luoma won the high jump title, clearing the bar at 5 feet, 2 inches.

Bloomfield compiled 95 points to win the team championship for the fourth time since 2017.
