opTIMism Hosts Wiffleball Marathon On June 10
opTIMism will be hosting our first annual 100 Inning Wiffleball marathon / awareness and education event on June 10 at Brookside Park.

From opTIMism: opTIMism, a Today I Matter Foundation, will be hosting our first annual 100 Inning Wiffleball marathon / awareness and education event on Saturday, June 10, 2016. It will take place at Brookside Park in Ellington from 10:00 AM to approximately 5:00PM.
This will be a fun and educational event for families and adults alike. We are encouraging teams of at least 4 people to register for an hour of fun wiffleball. Team may be comprised of kids, teens, adults, or mixed age families. We will match up teams to others of similar age and talent makeup. The donation will be $100.00 per team for a 1 hour game. Teams are encouraged to make it fun and decorate your own t shirts in tribute to someone you love. This could be someone that you have lost, or someone that you are encouraging in whatever struggles they may faced with. A prize will be given to the team with the best t-shirts.
We will also have a home run derby with a prize for the winner. There will be a $5.00 entry fee for each contestant.
