Somers Board of Selectmen Unchanged; Town Clerk Re-Elected

Here are some other highlights from the local elections in Somers on Tuesday.

The Somers Board of Selectmen will remain the same after all three incumbents were re-elected Tuesday.

Voters chose First Selectman Lisa Pellegrini over her opponent, Donna Doyker, by a vote of 1,342 to 901, according to the unofficial results.

At the same time, voters re-elected incumbent Democrat Kathleen A. Devlin by a vote of 1,600 and Republican Clyde G. Knorr Jr., who won with a vote of 1,303.

A fourth candidate, Democrat William Salka, received 899 votes and will not be on the board. 

Meanwhile, Somers' longtime town clerk, Ann Logan, easily won reelection with 1,324 votes over her opponent, Christina Anderson. Logan has served seven terms as town clerk.
