ELLINGTON, CT — A local resident snagged a $50,000 bonanza recently on a Powerball ticket purchased at the Big Y World Class Market on Route 83.
The winner, who opted to remain anonymous, claimed the big prize Thursday, according to the CT Lottery website.
The CT Lottery routinely publishes winnings of $10,000 or more as public record.
