When Are Showers and Storms Possible in Ellington and Somers This Weekend?

This weekend we could hit 90 degrees, which sets the stage for the chance of unsettled weather.

Beginning after midnight on Friday, showers and thunderstorms are possible and the chance for storms and showers continues throughout Saturday and into Saturday night.

There is a 40-50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms on Saturday statewide, and the skies will be mostly cloudy with temps around 80 degrees.

On Sunday, the sun will be out but it will also be hot and humid as temps could reach 90 degrees in Connecticut.

More storms are possible after midnight on Sunday and there is a chance of storms for the return to work on Monday.

The best weather day by far is Friday with plenty of sunshine and temps near 80 degrees.
