Why are you seeking this office?

I am seeking this office because we are not well represented by our current senator. I will bring home (to our district) funding for well-need projects. Our current senator has failed to have bills passed that would help our district's economic growth and development.

What do you believe is the No. 1 issue facing Connecticut, and how do you plan to address it?

As a Realtor I see then need for fair housing. I plan to address this by looking at some of our vacant buildings, and other resources. I will seek support from our State and Federal government for assistance with this plan.

There have been an alarming number of deaths on Connecticut's roadways. Is there anything from a legislative standpoint that can be done to address that?

We have appropriate speed limits. Unfortunately, we need more police officers to be able to enforce the law. This will deter speeding and save lives.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I am a dedicated public servant who will fight for the needs of the people-unlike other candidates who do not go to bat for our needs.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

As an Enfield Councilor, I have learned how to reach across the aisle in order to gain support from the opposition. By doing this, I am able to secure appropriate funding through the budget process and see that important projects remain on the forefront

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am honored to have been a public servant for all of these years. My promise to the voters is that I will continue to do my best and use good judgement in my decisions which affect all of the people. My philosophy is that government works for the people and not the other way around.
