Enfield Company Helps Sell Off Hostess Brands' Assets

Capital Recovery Group will help run auctions held across the country, which will include the sale of thousands of Hostess' iconic trucks.

An Enfield company will have a hand in auctioning off of Hostess Brands’ iconic trucks, factories and more when the sale of the bankrupt company’s remaining assets begins this month, according to Hartford Business Journal.

HBJ reports Enfield’s Capital Recovery Group, an auction and appraisal firm located on King Street, is working with San Francisco’s Rabin Worldwide to conduct the series of auctions, which began Oct. 30.

Hostess Brands sold off many of its most popular assets, including Twinkies and Wonder Bread, after filing for bankruptcy and halting operations in the fall of 2012.
