Post Road is blocked between Overhill Road and Phoenix Avenue after a tree snapped a telephone pole, and Eversource crews are working on repairs. Police urge drivers to use caution, avoid downed wires, and expect delays around affected Enfield areas.
   

• Tax Break For Enfield Seniors (patch.com) — Enfield homeowners aged 65 and older can cut their property tax bill by up to $400 in exchange for at least 75 hours of volunteer work at approved local nonprofits during 2025. Participants must live in Enfield, occupy their home as a primary residence, and apply through the Enfield Senior Center by January 30, 2026. The verified tax credit will appear on the July 2026 bill, giving seniors a way to save money while supporting the community.
