Enfield Food Shelf Invites Community to Give Thanks with a Turkey
Donations of turkeys and other traditional holiday meal items are welcomed by the Enfield Food Shelf.

ENFIELD, CT - During this season of giving thanks, we invite you to partner with us to feed our hungry neighbors.
Hundreds of Enfield families have registered to receive food from Enfield Food Shelf. Each week we offer those families of adults and children foods that have been donated to us through the generosity of our community. Individuals, religious and civic organization, schools, and school groups, gardeners and farmers, business partners and grocers and distributors thoughtfully donate hundreds of pounds of food.

In addition to those typically donated items, turkeys and other traditional holiday meal items, will be needed for Thanksgiving tables. Frozen turkeys, 12-15 pounds in size, boxes of instant potatoes, cans of yams and vegetable, pie crust and cake mixes, cans of pie filling and frosting, cranberry sauces and condiments are among needed items. If you prefer, monetary donations are welcome and appreciated.
