Enfield Man Says Speedbowl Owner 'Repeatedly Molested' Him: Report
The man filed a civil suit Tuesday against Bruce Bemer, who was arrested in March in connection with a sex trafficking scheme.

HARTFORD, CT — An Enfield man is suing New London Waterford Speedbowl owner Bruce Bemer, alleging Bemer "repeatedly molested" him in 1993, reports the Hartford Courant. The unidentified man filed a civil suit Tuesday at Superior Court in Hartford, and his lawyer Kevin Ferry of New Britain is also seeking to freeze $5 million of Bemer's assets.
The lawsuit says Bemer allegedly abused the unidentified Enfield man at Bemer Petroleum Court in Glastonbury. Ferry told the court that unlike some of the other victims, his client did not suffer from a mental illness.
