• Hazard Avenue Reopens After Overnight Crash In Enfield (patch.com) — Drivers in Enfield are back to normal on Hazard Avenue after an overnight crash near the Somers line split an Eversource utility pole and forced a closure between Columbia Road and Katie Lane. Police report no injuries, and say repairs were completed early Tuesday, allowing traffic to resume safely along this busy Route 190 stretch.

• State DMV installs 36 electric vehicle charging stations (wfsb.com) — Enfield’s DMV branch at 4 Pearson Way now has new Level 2 electric vehicle charging stations available for public use at $0.32 per kilowatt-hour. The state installed a total of 36 chargers across six DMV locations, funded through a VW settlement grant and overseen by the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
