When To Throw Out Your Christmas Tree In Enfield
The Town of Enfield's public works department will collect natural Christmas trees as part of its annual recycling program.
ENFIELD, CT — The Town of Enfield Public Works Department is set to collect natural Christmas trees from residents as part of its annual recycling program.
Residents should place trees at the curb by 6 a.m. on the first day of collection. Condo residents must place trees at the main road.
Collection will begin Friday, January 9, according to a notice shared by town officials.

Only natural Christmas trees will be collected. All tinsel, ornaments, and stands must be removed, and trees placed in plastic bags will not be picked up.
Residents may also drop off trees free of charge at the Transfer Station at 77 Town Farm Road in Enfield. The Transfer Station is open Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
