Enfield Man's Body Pulled From Massachusetts Lake

BREAKING: The man went missing while swimming in the lake on Thursday.

SOUTHWICK, MA — The body of an Enfield man was pulled from a lake in Massachusetts Saturday, according to the Southwick Police Department.

Police received a 911 call Thursday about the man who went missing while swimming in Congamond Lakes. Authorities closed part of the lake on Friday as the search continued. The man was not located on Friday and recovery efforts resumed Saturday and the missing swimmer was located around 10:30 a.m.

Authorities identified him as Michael Chace, 33 of Enfield.

Police and fire personnel from Southwick and divers from the Massachusetts State Police assisted in the search.
