Arrest Made In Fatal Hit-And-Run Crash In Enfield [UPDATED]
A minibike operator was killed and the operator of a minivan which initially fled the scene of a crash on Route 190 has been arrested.

ENFIELD, CT — A two-vehicle collision involving a mini-motorcycle on Route 190 in the Scitico section of Enfield Monday night resulted in the death of the bike operator and police searching for the other involved vehicle, which fled the scene. The van driver was eventually apprehended and placed under arrest, police said.
The crash was reported to police at 8:02 p.m. on Hazard Avenue and Water Street. Police said CPR was administered to the motorcyclist, who has not yet been identified, but who was pronounced dead.
A minivan which struck the cyclist initially left the scene, but shortly before 10 p.m., police arrested Judith Kostek, 66, of Enfield, and charged her with evading responsibility resulting in death.

A segment of the roadway between Water Street and Glen Arden Lane was closed during an investigation by the Enfield Police Department Traffic Division and the regional Metro Traffic Services, Police Chief Alaric Fox said.
