Knowledge Of Enfield Business Signs Could Make You A Contest Winner

ENFIELD, CT — Since reader response to last month's inaugural Enfield trivia contest was so much greater than expected, we have decided to create a new puzzle for you to solve.

The words"Enfield Patch" below were created using parts of 12 different business signs all over town. Your job is to identify as many of the businesses as possible.

Each business is a small, local-to-Enfield venture; there are no chains or franchises included.

NOTE: the letters may not necessarily be the FIRST letter of the business name. For example, the "D" could be from Dinky Donuts (Seinfeld reference) or from Enfield Auto Sales (it is actually not from either one). We'll even give you some help: just three of the dozen are the first letter of the company name.

Unlike the initial trivia contest, these cannot be Googled, so it will not exactly be an easy task. For that reason, we'll give you some extra time to hop in the car and try to find them. The deadline to submit your response will be 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24.

Once the deadline is hit, the person with the most correct answers will win. In case of a tie, which occurred in the trivia contest, we will pull one winner at random.
