The annual carnival featuring bands, food, rides and games will be back on the grounds of St. Bernard Church Thursday through Saturday.

ENFIELD, CT — Live music, good food, exciting rides and a variety of games of skill and chance will highlight this year’s edition of St. Jeanne Jugan Parish’s carnival, slated Thursday through Saturday, May 30 through June 1, on the grounds of St. Bernard Church at 424 Hazard Avenue.
The carnival will run from 6 to 10 p.m. each day, featuring carnival rides, with wristbands for sale every evening for $20 that provide unlimited access to the fairground’s rides, or individual ride tickets. Ride tickets will begin going on sale at 5:30 each night.
There will be a wide variety of food, including fried dough, French fries, doughnuts, strawberry shortcake and sundaes; craft beer provided by Powder Hollow Brewery; and hamburgers, hot dogs, and grinders provided by Danny’s Pizza. There will also be booths featuring skill games and a selection of state-sanctioned games of chance on the carnival’s midway, as well as an expanded kiddie land.
