A display of sunglasses was filched from Pearle Vision on Black Rock Turnpike Tuesday, police said.
The store manager reported the theft Wednesday. Approximately 25 pairs of sunglasses totaling $1,600 were stolen from a wall display.
The manager said when she left the store at 5 p.m., the displays were intact. She believes the sunglasses may have been stolen between that time and the time the store closed, at 7 p.m.
This is under investigation.
