2-Car Crash Reported On I-95 In Fairfield, Delays Reported: UPDATE

FAIRFIELD, CT — A two-vehicle crash on I-95 southbound between exits 21 and 20 has led to the left lane being closed. The crash was reported at 6:09 a.m. Delays are stretching back from exits 27 to 21 or 5 miles, the state DOT reports.

UPDATE: As of 6:45 a.m, the crash has been cleared but delays continue on both I-95 and the Merritt Parkway.

STAMFORD - Delays. I-95 Southbound is congested between Exits 9 and 6 (2.7 miles). Reported Wednesday, May 7 at 7:01 am.

NORWALK - Delays. I-95 Southbound is congested between Exits 15 and 13 (2.7 miles). Reported Wednesday, May 7 at 7:15 am.

TRUMBULL - Delays. RT 15 Southbound is congested between Exits 49 and 37 (18.5 miles). Reported Wednesday, May 7 at 6:14 am.
