Date Set For Fairfield Chamber Of Commerce's 23rd Annual 'Spring Fling' Fundraiser

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce will host its 23rd Annual Spring Fling Fundraiser and Silent Auction on Thursday, April 24, at a new venue: Penfield Pavilion in Fairfield.

The event, open to the public, runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and includes a variety of food and beverage offerings from local vendors. Attendees can expect appetizers and desserts from area restaurants, an open bar with wine, beer and soft drinks, and a Rosé Bar sponsored by Mo’s Wine and Spirits, which will also feature chocolate pairings by BE Chocolat.

Additional beverage tastings include craft beer from Elicit Brewing Company, bourbon tastings provided by Next Century Spirits, and a signature cocktail called "The Blooming Spring," created by Fifth State Distillery using its own gin.

Silent auction items include a golf foursome at Brooklawn Country Club, spa and beauty packages, tickets to local performances and sporting events, restaurant and retail gift cards, and jewelry.

Guests are encouraged to wear pink for a chance to win a door prize in the event’s "Pretty in Pink" and "Handsome in Pink" drawing.

"This annual fundraiser benefits the Chamber and supports our continued work with the local business community," said Beverly Balaz, president of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce. "It’s a great opportunity for residents and business owners to come together and celebrate spring while supporting Fairfield’s economy."

The evening is designed for a broad audience, from business professionals to friends and families. The venue will feature spring-themed décor, including a designated Rosé Garden.

Tickets are $70 for Chamber members and $75 for non-members. Walk-ins are welcome. Ticket price includes open bar (wine, beer and soft drinks), signature drink tasting, and restaurant lite bites.
