Fairfield Restaurant’s Liquor Permit Suspended By State

The business has paid a fine and its permit will be suspended for one day, according to state officials.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield restaurant will have its liquor permit suspended for one day next month, according to the state Department of Consumer Protection Liquor Control Commission.

Latina Cantina, located at 348 Black Rock Turnpike, has paid a $1,250 fine and will have its liquor permit suspended on Aug. 26, according to state records.

The suspension “resolves issues concerning the following statutes or regulations,” according to the liquor control commission: two counts of authorization to sell alcoholic liquor for off-premises consumption, and permit to be recorded.
