News release from Fairfield Warde High School:
FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield Warde High School proudly launched its first Chick-fil-A Leader Academy™, a national high school leadership program sponsored by local Chick-fil-A Operators. This innovative program empowers students to develop leadership skills and take meaningful action to create positive change within their communities.
The inaugural Fairfield Warde Leader Academy welcomed 19 students who are committed to making an impact. In December, the group spearheaded their first community project, “Hope for the Holidays,” to benefit Al’s Angels, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting children and families facing cancer, rare blood diseases, natural disasters, and severe financial hardships.

To drive participation, the student leaders visited every homeroom at Fairfield Warde over five days, rallying their peers to contribute to the cause. Their efforts paid off, as the Warde community raised an impressive $1,000 to help bring holiday joy to families in need.
To celebrate this remarkable achievement, the three homerooms with the highest contributions will enjoy a special lunch generously provided by Chick-fil-A.
