Five Things, July 18: See '13 the Musical!' at the Bijou

Here are five things to know about Fairfield for Thursday, July 18:

1. The weather. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms and showers Thursday -- otherwise, expect another scorcher. The National Weather Service is predicting sunny skies with temperatures reaching a high near 90.

3. Teddy Bear Sleepover. Drop off Teddy at the main library before 6 p.m. on Thursday and pick him up Friday morning at 9:30 -- stay for a special story time!

4. Southport Art Exhibition. "The Delamar in Southport is hosting an opening for Weston artist Carole McClintock on the evening of July 18. The exhibition, entitled 'Air and Water,' will feature the artist’s popular koi series, latest sky scape images and impressionist style poppy paintings from her recent trip to France."
