Here are five things to know about Fairfield for Monday, June 2:
1. The weather. Expect patchy fog before 9 a.m. and showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. Temperatures are forecast to reach a high of 76.
2. Your commute. Check out I-95 before you hit the road with the Connecticut Department of Transportation's traffic cameras.
3. Fair TV. Learn more about Fair TV operations and goals at the Fair TV Public Access Committee meeting at 7 p.m. at Sullivan Independence Hall.
4. Free blood pressure screening. Bridgeport Hospital will offer free blood pressure screenings at the Fairfield Senior Center from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
5. Last Song Before the War. The feature-length documentary that "captures the power, beauty, and uncertain future of Mali’s annual Festival in the Desert" will be screened at the Fairfield Theatre Company at 7 p.m.
