Blinn's manager Sean O'Brien suggested some classic ideas that foster father-child time and outdoor play.
"Whiffle balls and bats, beach stuff, kites, frisbees," he said. "Anything they can do together."
O'Brien recalled launching an Alpha III model rocket with his father and friends at Jennings Beach when he was young.
A rocket can provide fun between father and son -- especially because adult supervision is necessary for launching, O'Brien said.
