Home & Vintage Furnishings Boutique Lolli Sutton Opens In Fairfield
The boutique is at 1875 Post Road in downtown Fairfield.
FAIRFIELD, CT — Lolli Sutton, a new home furnishings boutique, recently opened at 1875 Post Road in downtown Fairfield, and held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate.
The boutique, named after the childhood nicknames of the two sisters who founded it, offers a curated selection of vintage and new furnishings for the home, with an emphasis on the coastal Fairfield County, preppy lifestyle.
"We grew up with a mom who was always antiquing and going to tag sales, and all that good stuff," Nicole "Sutton" Lacey told Patch about the inspiration to open the boutique with her sister, Lori "Lolli" Potutschnig.

Lacey has retail experience, with stints managing stores for The Gap, J. Crew and Pottery Barn, and most-recently at Millie Rae's in Westport.
"So, when we talked about doing something together, we were like, 'let's open a store,'" Lacey said. "Let's have it be a mix of old and new, and just have beautiful things, and do it here in Fairfield."

The store features not only housewares, but also some art, jewelry, books and furniture. While the sisters are not offering interior design services at the moment while they focus on retail, they said they may offer that in the future.
"We're helping people style," Lacey said. "We're full-on, eclectic vintage retail with new items."
"We've had customers come in and tell us our items spark nostalgia," Potutschnig said. "A lot of people say they don't know how to mix the old with the new, so we've shown them how to curate it."
The sisters source the items in the store from Round Top, Texas, North Carolina, northeastern states and beyond.
"You have great taste, obviously, and I can't wait for my daughter and wife to come here," First Selectman Bill Gerber said. "It's a beautiful place, and welcome back to Fairfield."
Lolli Sutton, 1875 Post Road in Fairfield, is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit the boutique's website for more information.
