New Urgent Care Facility Opens In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, CT — A new urgent care facility opened on Black Rock Turnpike in Fairfield on Monday.

Nuvance Health-GoHealth Urgent Care opened the new center in Fairfield at 1953 Black Rock Turnpike, next to Party City and Shop Rite. It is one of two new urgent care sites the health care provider opened in Fairfield County on Monday; the other is at 132 Federal Road, Suite 11, in Brookfield.

The new centers provide people in Fairfield and Brookfield with convenient access to the Nuvance Health network. Both are at ground level and feature ample parking.

"Convenient access to high-quality healthcare is crucial for the well-being of our communities," said Dr. Reed Idriss, medical director of Nuvance Health-GoHealth Urgent Care, in a statement. "Our newest centers provide Brookfield and Fairfield with a front door to Nuvance Health’s vast services and allow us to care for our patients close to their homes."

The Fairfield center will be open daily, including holidays, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days
a week. According to the health care provider, the new center offers people aged 6 months and older a wide array of services for conditions including flu, fever, earaches, insect bites, sprains, simple fractures, eye injuries and cuts requiring stitches.
