FAIRFIELD, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

RN on terminal COVID-19 unit
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Sitting with patients during their final hours of life, holding an iPad up for hours so patient families can say goodbye, she goes to work in a hospital five days, staying 10-hours plus.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?
She has loyalty, commitment to the dying COVID-19 patients, compassion, and does whatever is asked of her, including many job reassignments, with a smile.
