Sacred Heart Student Had Illegal Weapons Stockpile: Cops
Police say the man had explosive devices and several fraudulent forms of law enforcement ID.
DUXBURY, MA — An EMS worker from Easton was found with several illegal weapons, ammunition, explosive materials and fake police badges Monday, according to multiple media reports. Christopher Barlow, 20, was arrested after federal agents and a bomb squad searched his bedroom and found a cache of illegal weapons.
The Connecticut Post reports that a member of Barlow's family brought police a gun their son had made. When Barlow went to retrieve the weapon, he used a fake Homeland Security ID.
Barlow is a Sacred Heart University Student and is part of the college live-in program at the Easton EMS during the school year, according to the Easton Courier. He also was found with a handgun and a double-edged knife when police arrested Barlow in Plymouth, MA.

"Based on information gathered from other agencies and from previous interviews it was determined that Barlow possessed fraudulent identification that made it appear that he was a law enforcement officer," according to a release from the Duxbury Police Department."It was also determined that he had purchased the parts to make several firearms. The identification and firearms were recovered during the search of his residence."
He was held on $250,000 bail at the time of his arrest. Boston-area TV station WHDH reports an investigation to determine if he is linked to terror is underway.

The Patriot Ledger reports Barlow was held without bail following a dangerousness hearing Wednesday.
