Check out the parade float that will represent 'A Night of Music' in Monday's Memorial Day Parade.
The float features "one of the largest customer-built guitars" witnessed in Fairfield, according to A Night of Music co-founder Charlene Lebo.
A Night of Music committee members -- along with radio personality Brian Smith and the Doug Wahlberg Band -- will ride the float, which is a tribute to the Veterans of the Afghanistan & Iraq conflicts, Lebo said.
There will be a special place on the float dedicated to the Sandy Hook Angels, according to Lebo.
A Night of Music is an annual fundraiser that was established in 2010 by Fairfield residents Charlene Lebo and Suzanne DeSantie, who lost their husbands Keith and Jim to pancreatic cancer.
The money raised by A Night of Music benefits the Lebo-DeSantie Center for Liver and Pancreatic Diseases at St. Vincent's Medical Center.
