Three Contested GOP Races to Be Decided at Tuesday Caucus

Registered Republicans in Fairfield will have the chance next week to vote on nominees to populate the ballots for November's municipal elections.

The GOP's town-wide caucus is set for Tuesday, July 23, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the lecture hall at Fairfield Ludlowe High School.

There is a contested race for the Republican nomination for each of the following offices -- candidates will be decided at the caucus:

• Board of Finance (two to be elected at caucus): Mary LeClerc, Robert Bellitto, Brendan Miles, and David Becker;
• Board of Education (two to be elected at caucus): Pamela Iacono, Dorene Herron, Eileen Liu-McCormack, and John Llewellyn;
• Representative Town Meeting, District 1: Michael Herley, Eric Sundman, Gaylord Meyer, Jay Lipp, John Donovan, Frank Greco.
