Two-Dozen Public Summer School Jobs Available In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, CT — As the 2024-25 school year comes to a close, Fairfield still has plenty of available public school jobs, according to the district.

Twenty-five summer school jobs are currently available, as are 15 elementary, middle and high school teaching jobs.

Additionally, substitute teaching posts, support staff positions and maintenance/custodial jobs are also available.

It's important to note that just because a school district is looking to hire for a position, it doesn't always mean it's a new position added to the budget.

As mentioned above with some of the summer school positions, some jobs are seasonal, or the district is filling a vacancy, or even to fulfilling a mandate, including in the special education program.
