Camp Worker's Cause of Death Released
The 64-year-old man was a seasonal maintenance worker at the Farmington camp.

A 64-year-old seasonal maintenance worker died of anaphylactic shock from bee stings, according to the Hartford Courant.
Walter Darden was preparing Camp Courant for the summer season when he was stung by yellow jacket bees that were in an air conditioner.

After he was stung, someone called 911 and the medics arrived within minutes. Darden was transported to John Dempsey Hospital, where he died.
An exterminator was called to the property after the incident and the bees are no longer in the air conditioner.
